Very interesting. Can I claim my castle now?
My mother’s grandparents and mother were from PC – her grandfather was Andrew Danni, her mother was Katherine Danni who had a brother Anthony and sister Rose. Any information appreciated. They left for America in late 1800’s.
I am researching my husbands mothers family. They were from Pavone Canavese, Italy. His grandfather was Bernardo Grosso, born 17 July 1884 in Pavone Canavese. He had a brother Antone born 5 August 1886. They parents we believe were Giovanni Grosso born about 1860 and Maria Tavero born about 1864. His grandmother was Catherine or Mary Catherine Erbaviva born 8 Sep 1883. We believe her parents were Lecande Erbaviva and Domenica Ronco. We know that Giovanni Grosso died or was killed when the boys were young. They came to the US in 1911 to work in the gold mines in Montana. I would appreciate any information that is available about any of the family.
