  2. My mother was from Castel Del Giudice and came to the us when she was 17 years old. Her name is Gianinna DiTata married name is D’Iorio.
    I was told her mothers name was Maria DiTata. I am visiting Castel Del Giudice and would love to know the address where she lived. We will visit from the USA in mid June. I only know of her cousin Carmine DiTata. I believe they still live in Insernia / Castel Del Giudice. Her uncle Carmines father took care of her post war as the house was badly damaged. I would love to connect and get an address so we can see where she lived and understand her journey. I will try to contact Carmine DiTata.   5. Both my grandparents were born and raised in Castel del Guidice in the early to mid 1890’s – Guiseppi Pacella and Maria DiSalvo Pacella.

    They both came to America via Ellis Island in 1919, changing names to Joseph and Marie Pacella.
