I have been told that my Grandfather, Nicola Punzi, was from Vietri Sul Mare. He was born around 1871 to Frank and Serafina Punzi.

Nicola emigrated to the US in the early 1900’s (1906 -1907). On a recent trip to Italy, I visited Vietri and saw my surname on a nursery school near the piazza. Unfortunately it was a Saturday and everything was closed.

Any information you may have or any resourecs you can point me to would be greatly appreciated.
