  1. My Family owned a farm . I was told stories that the walls of the home were 2 feet thick. They would send my Great Grand Father Andre Maiorino Dried fruit and nut on Christmas. In the Maiorino Family there were 3 brothers I dont know about sisters one brother stayed to run the farm and one went to Brazil. There father came to visit each of them to ask them to come home and chose to stay. My Father Gilbert Maiorino was in italy during WW2 and was ready to visit his GG father but his leave was pulled at the last moment. About 40 years ago a friend of the family went to visit the homestead and didnt even know our branch of the family existed because we are not full Italian. My grandfather married and full blooded Norweigian.

  2. I believe my paternal great grandparents were from Baronissi and moved to Chiaromonte Potenza where my grandfather was born and he and his father immigrated to NY. I can’t find any information on them. Any idea where I can find information ?
