Hello, I am the great granddaughter of Giovanni (John) Mirocco and Francesca (Frances) Montalto (or Montaldo) and am wondering if they are from Santa Sofia d’Epiro. They were married in November 1893 and had two children, Sophia Mirocco (born 1894) and Jospeh Mirocco (born 1899) before they left for America in 1901. Joseph’s birth certificate states that he was born in Santa Sofia, Italy. My great grandparents,John and Frances Mirocco, spoke Albanese.

Hello, I am the great Granddaughter of Alexander Micieli who was born in 1860 and died in 1935. He was married to Rosina and had 3 children. Alexander was the Executor of the town’s farms.
