My great grandfather was Luigi Pica (b 1837). He married Angela Santarsiero (b 1844.) They emigrated to America in 1876. I haven’t been able to get any more information on their parents or ancestors. Family information says they were from Vaglio.

My Grandfather, Rocco Tamburrino, was the son of Carlo Maria Tamburrino and Anna Santangelo..
His grandfather was Vincenzo Tamburrino, who married Faustina LaCapra.
My grandmother, Maria Caterina LaCapra, was the daughter of Gerardro LaCapra , who was the son ov Guiseppe LaCapra and Maria Caterina Ventre. Her Grandparents were: Faustino Cavallo, who married Marie Teresa Perillo.
I think we are looking for the same family. I have a Vincenzo Tamburrino and a Faustina LaCapra in my family tree. They had a son named Canio Rocco Tamburrino that was born in 1827 in Vaglio. Carlo Maria Tamburrino and Canio Rocco my be brothers. Would like to see if they are the same family.
Yes, These two were brothers. Vincenzo Tamburrino & Faustina LaCapra were married in 1810 in Vaglio di Basilicata. They had seven children that I know of. Six boys and one girl. Three of the boys died as young children.

I am trying to find ancestry of a Maria Teresa Tamburrino born about 1856 her parents were Canio Rocco Tamburrino and Caminella Pedota. Maria married a Giovanni Sabato on August 18, 1878 in Vaglio Basilicata can not find anything about her or the Tamburrino Family.
It is my hope that you can help me find birth certificate and relatives to Faustina (Foustina) Losasso who was born 9/18/1863 in Italy and died in USA 5/27/1904. Her father was Francesco Losasso and her mother was Philomena Saveno. Also Francis Jannuzzo had a wife whose maiden name was Yaste Lasa.
