Jesse, This is Don DeNardo, your father’s cousin, Bella’s son. I just saw your post during research of Tramutola, as I’ll be visiting there this coming September. I did a lot of research with a genealogist in the effort to achieve Italian Citizenship. I finally did get it, along with my children and grandson, but it was a long and difficult process. I never was able to trace Antonio DeMarco, your Great Grandfather to Ellis Island but do have some other information I’d be glad to share. I hope you and family are well. Bye for now

Good Morning. I am looking for information on my Great-Great Grandfather, Antonio Luigi Pecci La Salvia. He was born in Tramutola in 1852, and immigrated to Asuncion, Paraguay, where he married Laura Saavedra.
I know that Antonio’s father, Carlo Francesco Rocco Pecci Marino, had 11 children with Maria Giuseppa Rosaria Antonia La Salvia.
I have information on 5 of the children (Antonio’s siblings), the ones that immigrated to South America. However, I am missing information on the 6 other potential siblings, who I am guessing stayed in Italy.
Grazie Mile.
Hola.

I am trying to get information on my grandfather Luigi D’Agrosa, born in Tromutola, October 3, 1886. He emigrated to the United States at the turn of the century
I want to know something about my grandfather who was born in Tramutula.
I am trying to find information about Josephine (Giuseppina) Pecci born 1894 in Tramutola, Potenza, Basilicata. She married James (went by Giovanni while in Italy, so possibly James John, or John James) Salera, probably in Marsico Vetere in Potenza, in 1911 or 1912. James was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1884. He went to Italy to find a wife, so the story goes, and was working for Josephine’s father, Michele (Mike) Pecci, probably in or near Marsico Vetere.
They emigrated to America 20 Sep 1912, Josephine was 3 or 4 months pregnant with their first child, Frank who was born in Pennsylvania in March 1913.
Josephine married a second time after James died in 1927 and stated on the marriage certificate that her parents were Mike Pecci and Rosina Magliono.
I have been unable to find any information about this particular Pecci line or Rosina Magliono.
Maria Anna Carmina Maglione was born in Tramutola, Potenza, Basilicata, daughter of Domenico Maglione and Francisca Di Salvo.
She married in 1903 in the city of Porto in Portugal with José G. da Rocha and died young in 1909.
They had a son, Mario V.da Rocha (my father)born in 1904 who had a cousin with the same grandparents, with whom he often exchange correspondence, called Galliano Pecci from Pittsburg, PA.
I am looking for any member of the Pecci family from Tramutola. I just came across your comment. Even though your comment is from 2014 I was wondering if you are still able to communicate.
