    I am interested in finding out if Donato Marrone born August 9, 1899 son of Nicola Donato Marrone and Serofina Cherrone was actually born in Fossacesia. Thank you!!

      This was my grandfather Donato Marrone, His father was Nicola Donato Marrone, As from what I know that Donato was a only child. Nicola Marrone and his wife Serofina Cherrone had a farm that grew olives and produced olive oil. May grandfather immigrated to South Bend Indiana around 1923. He married Angiolina Valnete, she also was born in Fossacesica, she was born March 1 1905.
