  5. Hello!
I am trying to get birth certificates for my great grandmother (Maria Di Zan) and great grandfather (Francesco Bettarel). Based on travel records, my great grandfather’s mother was Augusta De Nardi and she lived in Fregona. The family was proud to be from Vittorio Veneto. What is the best way to secure these records so that I can continue my family research?

    Any help is appreciated!

  6. I have been trying for years to find out about my father’s side of the family from Fregona and Vittoria Veneto. My Grandfather’s name was Fiorovante De Pasqualin who migrated to the United States as a young boy with other relatives. I believe his father was Giovanni De Pasqualin. It is so important and saddens me that I have not been able to learn the history of my family as most of them are deceased. Please help me find my family. I will be so grateful of your time. Thank you!

    1. I also seek to know my Italian roots. I know that my great-grandfather was born in Fregona in August 1904. He was also called Giovanni De Pasqualin. Then he went to France to find work. He is married and it is staying. My grandfather Nello lost the connection to the family in Italy. Since my aunt sought to renew ties. I doubt whether the same person. But given the similarities perhaps they were part of the same family.

I’m sorry for my bad English.

  7. Hello,
I have looked for over 15years at different sites for relatives from Fregona and Azzano Decimo areas. I have had a little information from Fregona but was wondering if you have more.

My great, great granfather was Giovonni Zanette, born November 21, 1823. He married Maria Da Ros, born May 18, 1820. I don’t have any information on their marriage. He had four sons, Giacamo, born March 1, 1848, Antonio, born 1853, Francesco, born August 1, 1858 and Paolo. This is the information that I have. I have info on their spouses, but am missising some of that. Their were quite a few of my relatives born their. Giacamo, my great grandfather son Francesco, who is my grandfather. Their are other relatives of the other sons, and alot of info to verify. I am doing a geneology project on the Zanette side of my family.

I appreciate any information that you can provide.

    Rita Zanette
