    1. My great grandmother’s name was Vita Tantillo. Would you know if your grandmother Grace Tantillo had a sister named Vita. Vita’s husband’s last name was Rini. I believe they were all from Ventimigilia. They came to the US around 1902. Does any of this sound familiar to you!

  9. I am looking for the birth certificate (or baptism certificate) for my grandmother, Andreana Fazio. She was born December 13, 1871 in Ventimiglia. Her parents were Barnaba Fazio and Anna Santini. She was married May 25, 1895 to Antonino Spoaracio.

The story is she was put into an orphanage by her mother. I do not know which one or her mothers or fathers name. Maria Raffronti was visited often by her mother at the orphanage. It’s been told that a gentleman named Andrea Alongi (Alonge) came to the orphanage looking for a wife for his childreN as he was widowed in February 1892. Maria and Andrea were married in September 15, 1892 in Ventimiglia, Italy. I cannot find a birth certificate for either or a marriage certificate. They immigrated to America on August 17, 1900. Andrea passed away November 12, 1939 and Maria passed away January 1978. I would like to find bother their birth certificates and their marriage license/certificate. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Arrived in United States November 1, 1901 with Daughter Rosa and traveled to Louisiana.
