  2. My Great Grandfather was born in Santi Cosma e Damiano Italy on July 4 1888. His name was Angelo Romanelli. I know he had a brother named Guiseppe. I am looking for information on Angelo Romanelli’s parents. Their names might have been Filippo Romanelli and Filomena Paliotta. I am not positive on this information and was looking for anyone that could help me with this. Thank you so much for your time and effort. I appreciate it.

    1. His fathers name was Giuseppe and he was actually born on 7 April 1891. He was also my great grand father. I had to research the genealogy for my Italian Citizenship.

  3. My family moved from Santi Cosma e Damiano around 1820. I have traced two earlier generations to Castelforte which is the adjacent town. I am interested in research at Castleforte where Pietrangelo DiPrincipe was born circa 1733. I do not know how far back their church records go or if the archivio di stato has the catasto onciario or which notaries worked in the town. What can you do for me?
