  1. That’s my recipe:

    1.4 pounds of white flour
    1 tablespoon of sugar
    3 eggs + 2 egg yolks
3 tablespoons of Italian extra virgin olive oil
    1 grated lemon skin

    Enjoy it and Buon Natale!!!

      1. Dear Karen,
I do not use any baking powder for struffoli.
The recipe you see is my grandmother’s.
Let me know if you like it.

        Ciao,

        Emanuela

  2. It looks like a pasta dough … you’ll have to add a little at a time to get the right consistency. Also, note that when she measures out the baking powder, she has a HEAPING teaspoon.

Edda cooks like my grandmother did … nothing was ever written down.
