I was just wondering through some websites regarding loose Cito and Campobasso and ran across your posting. I grew up in Des Moines Iowa and my maiden name was LOUBERTO.
My fathers name was Mike and he had a barbershop on South W. 9th St. in Des Moines his father was Angelo Louberto And owned a grocery store On Leland Av. His mother’s name was Kate. My father had two brothers James and Louie two sisters – Mary and Josephine. My mother, Margaret had friends Mary and Katherine (Kat ) love frat and I believe they went to Christ the King Church where we went. We also had relatives by the name of Loffredo
If any of this rings a bell with you, please reply as I am looking for further information to the ancestry of my grandparents.
My grandfather, Angelo as well as my grandmother Catherine came over from Italy on the SS LAHN arriving in New York 2 December 1902. There were also some Loffredo family members on that ship.
How exciting it would be if there was some family connection between us!

My paternal grandfather and grandmother were both from Lucito.
their names were Alexander A Guastaferri ( sometimes spelled Guataferro) born 1883 and Amelia Minicucci born 1889.
He emigrated to the US in 1899 and she emigrated in 1905.
I am planning a trip to Lucito to visit my Italian roots and would like some help in obtaining any possible records regarding them and their parents or grandparents. A real bonus would be to see if i have any relatives still living in Italy as not all of either family came to the united states.
Any help, or direction to where I could best obtain help, would be deeply appreciated
