We will be in the area towards the end of the month. I know that my great great grandfather was born in Cicagna and is buried there someplace.
His name was Immanuale Leverone married to Maria Volpi. They had a least 4 sons Giovanni, b.1849, Carlo, b.1853, Guiseppe b.1864, and Benardo b. 1875. I believe these 4 immigrated to the United States about 1879.
If anyone has any information about this family, or how to find, please let me know.

I have been building my genealogical tree for the leverone family in California and I have discovered that we originated in the town of Cicagna and Pian de Ratti.

I would like to find Carlo Leveroni who was born in Cicagna in 1829 and emigrated to the US sometime before 1856. Can I simply write to the Registry office? How can I get the address?
