does anyone recognize the name of Libera Maria Vagante from Vico Del Gargano?
I am searching for the family of my grandfather Michele (Michael) DiLalla born 9.29.1888. His father was Ignatius DiLallo and his mother was Angelichio Eaman. As far as I know he had a brother Francesco and perhaps a sister.I have a Certificato of Di Nascita from Comune DiVico Del Gargano, Provincia Di Foggia
N 250 P I, which I have no idea what it means.
Any help would be apreciated.
I have additional information regarding my Grandfather Michael DiLalla, it seems that his name was Ignatizo DiLalla born 8.29.1888. His mother was Tommasa Angelicechio. There were three children: Tommasina, Francesco and Michele (was Ignazio).
Can you give me an address for the municipal building where I might procure information? I would like to visit Vico del Gargano but would really like to know if any family are still in the area.

Dear Sir/Madame:
I am currently doing research for my wife, Helen, about her family from Vico del Gargano.
Her grandfather, Danato Victor Selvaggio was born there on January 1, 1893. He served in the Italian army in World War I and was captured by the Germans. After the war, he emigrated to the U.S. on August 28, 1920 departing from Naples on the ship Ferninando Palasciano.
She is curious as to her ancestors, such as great grandparents, etc. and any other family information we might obtain.
Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
respectfully submitted,
Robert
