My great grandfather’s father was Dr. Errico Pasquale Tavone, who was born in Sant’Elia a Pianisi 15 May 1839. His father was Don Giuseppe Tavone, who was a lawyer and was probably born around 1806. Errico’s mother was Donna Maria Celeste Dardinelli. I cannot find any information on Errico or Giuseppe or Maria Celeste. I assume the family was well-known, since Giuseppe was a lawyer.

I am looking for records of the D’Daddario family Donato (born 1881) who left in 1902 for the US – Philadelphia. Believe his father was Michele and mother Rose or Rosa Pilona. Any information about parents, grandparents, or siblings would be greatly appreciated. It appears the apostrophe may or may not have been used by Donato when he immigrated. The family at this time spells our name Daddario.
Hope to travel to Italy in the next year or two for research and visiting the area.

I’m searching for the death of my great, great grandfather, Isidoro Mancinelli. He was born there in S. Elia on 23 Jun 1851. I have his birth registry. He was the son of Giovanni Mancinelli (1806-1890) and Mariangela Colavita (1811-1882, and daughter of Andrea Colavita). He and his wife, Maria Giuseppa Mancinelli, had six children who all emigrated to the U.S. from Pescolanciano, Isernia, Molise. They relocated the family there around 1891-1893 but Isidoro was born in S. Elia like all of my Mancinelli forefathers. He likely died there in S. Elia between 1902 and 1920. I would like to travel to S. Elia and search for any information but need a local guide who speaks some English.
