Bernice: I am researching Francesco Mancini (parents unknown) born Pignataro Interamna or Cassino ca. 1830’s married to Caterina ? also born same place. The couple had following children Paola Peitro , Concetta & Ferdinando.
Paola had 2 known children: 1. Maria b ca 1895 married Alessandro Evangelista and had 2 sons, Paolo b 1921 and Gerardo b 1925 St Angelo, Frosinone. This family settled in Detroit. Michigan USA and I have all information on this family except for Maria’s birth and marriage dates in Pignataro. 2. Alfonso b ca 1900 married Filomena and had 2 children Paola Rosina Mancini and Mary. All born in Pignataro. Both Paul and Mary came to US in 1950’s and lived with Alessandro & Maria Evangelista in Detroit. I would like to get birth and marriage certificates

My maternal grandparents were born there. Not sure on dates at the moment but they came to Astoria NY and my grandfather Silvestro Evangelista became a successful contractor and all his concrete is in the Throggs Neck Bridge when he built it!!

My father was born in Pignataro Interamna in 1913. Parents: Descamere Evangelista and Clorinda Terrezza Evangelista. Would love to have more info if possible.
My uncle, Benedetto DiFazio, immigrated to the USA in 1913 or 14. He went to live with his cousin, last name Terrezza, in Patton, Pennsylvania. His father, Francesco DiFazio, lived in Cassino but was from Pignataro. Do you think there is a connection?

My father was born near Pignataro Intermna – Emilio Millie Caporuscio on December 24, 1894. His father was Guisseppe (Joseph) Caporuscio, from the same area. He was born 1869 and died 1926. His mother was Maria Luisa Evangelista, also from the same area, born 1870 and died 1941 (all three died in US). I am seeking info on my Great grandparents from Pignitaro Intemna, Lazio. Pietro Risi and I am unsure of my great grandmothers name. I am told it was Marie Civita Manitta. He went to New York, USA in 1937, but I have no idea what happened to his wife, when born, died married etc. Pietro son Raffaele moved to the US in 1906 marrying Elvira DeLeo from Casserta. any help would be appreciated.

I am looking for any information you have on my great grandfather Antonio Baldassarre who was born around 1877 or 1878. He left for America in 1905 I believe on the Konig Albert. When he got here they may have changed his last name a little but not by much. He was married to Maria, not sure what year. Would like to know Antonio’s parents name or anything about him. There is a brief mention of “la famiglia Alberto Tiseo con i due figli” in “Memoria di Vita Vissuta” a collection of memoire of Pignataro written and compiled by my uncle Arcangelo Evangelista. Of course it is all in Italian.
