    I will be visiting Fontana Liri the week of April 16th 2018 My Great Grandparents we both born and married in Fontana Liri. There names were Dominico Bianchi and Philomena Paolina Gianetti. They were born in the early 1880’s and married in 1906. I am hoping to find the church they were baptized or married in.       My grandmother was Adelaide Giannetti born in 1903. Her father was Luigi And mother was Rachele Bianchi.
      She had a brother Ernesto and another Loreto another Paquale and another Federico and sisters Maria, Antonia, and Angela. If any of these match please let me know.
      I cisited some of Ernesto’s family about 10 years ago, but language was an issue and I did not get alot of information. Hope your trip is a good one, sorry that I did not find out about this site until today.

    I’m trying to find the names of my Great Grandfather’s parents. My Great Grand Father, Paolo Proia was born in Fontana Liri on October 23, 1886.
    I’m also trying to confirm the names of my Great Grandmother’s parents. My Great Grandmother,
    Liberata Zuffranieri was born in Fontana Liri on July 3, 1886. She had a sister named Teresa born about 1885. Their father’s name may have been Luigi Zuffranieri and their mother may have been Ruth Bianchi.
    Liberata Zuffranieri married Paolo Proia. They had a son named Emilio Proia born January 12, 1910 in
    Fontana Liri.

    I’m looking for relatives from Fontana Liri. My mother’s parent: Tomasso Battista and Rosaria DiRienzo came to Boston around 1918-1820. My Grandmother was born north of Rome near the Rrench border. Tomasso was from Fontana Liri and was in the Italian Army. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    I am searching for information on my paternal family. My grandfather came to America at the age of 17 with his older brother. His name is Rocco Colonnello and his older brother’s name is Loretto Colonnello (half brothers maybe). I sent for my grandfather’s Social Security application and he lists his mother’s name as Leita Rushia. Rocco was a shepard in Fontana Liri Italy born June 19, 1897 but he ran away from home and had no contact with his family in Italy which makes doing his genealogy branch very difficult. I would appreciate any information you can provide.

    During the course of gathering documents for Dual Citizenship, the translator found that many of my family came from Fontana Di Liri. Here is some of the information I have on them:

    Giovanna Struglia (1840 – 1921)
    Paola Pasqua Tullia (1876 – ?)
    Rocco Struglia ((1879 – ?)

      The father of my grandfather was Paul (Paolo in italian) Proïa, born at Fontana Liri the 15/06/1886 and the death in France at Rive de Gier the 24/01/1928
      He was maried with Maria Martira Forte at Rive de Gier the 09/11/1912
      His parents was Proia Loreto (living at Fontana Liri in 1912)and Ciolfi Brigite Marie (living Rive e Gier in 1912)

    My grandfathers name is Sante Venditti. His father’s name is Apalo Venditti and his mother’s name was Caroline Dirnzzo ( this is what the spelling looks like to me from my grandparents marriage license but as it is very old, it is difficult to read the writing).

    I’m seeking information on my ancestor, Pietro Corona, and his family (including parents or ancestors). He was born on August 19th, 1859 in Fontana Liri and married Modesta Matriale around 1878. He was a colonel in the Italian Army and of Spanish/Italian descent. He was also supposedly a member of the aristocracy. Any information on him, his wife, or either of their families would be helpful!
