Buenas noches, mi nombre es Gabriel Amoreo, vivo en Argentina y busco datos de mi bisabuelo paterno, de nombre Vincenzo Amodeo (hubo variación en el apellido), hijo de Francesco Amodeo y Rosa Laino, nacio en Atena Lucana, Salerno, alrededor de 1864 (una posible fecha fue 13 de enero), se caso en Atena Lucana el 2 de octubre de 1887 con Laura Giordano, nacida en el mismo lugar el 29 de abril de 1868, sus padres fueron Luigi Alfonso Giordano y Lucia Filomena Puppolo. Pude encontrar un acta de nacimiento de un tal Vincenzo Amodeo del 26 de abril de 1862 pero otra de defuncion del año siguiente asi que pudo tratarse de un hermano fallecido, porque figuran los mismos padres y abuelos. Posibles hermanos de Vincenzo fueron: Mariantonia, Gaetano Pasquale, Michele Arcangelo, Mariqueta y Antonio. Posibles hermanos de Laura Giordano: Rosario, Maria Francesca, Maria Rosaria y Carmine.

My grandmother’s father, Luigi Mango, came from Atena Lucano…her mother’s name was Maria Fressola. Luigi’s father was Michele Mango, and his mother was Maria Mellilo.
Any ideas of Maria Fressola’s parentage? She lived from 1884 to 1961.

Based on the info I have compiled in my family tree, Maria Fressola was born in 1884 and died in 1964 (slightly different than the date you gave).
Her mother’s name was Maria Carmela Planzo (b. 5 Mar 1861, and died 20 Mar 1931).
Her father’s name was Ciro Alfonso Maria Fressola (b. 21 Feb 1853, and died 12 Jan 1939).
I also have family in Uruguay!
