    Ciao.
I am grateful for any information you may have on my family. My maternal great grandfather was from Francavilla and his name was Luigi Di Giorgio. when he came to America, the name was changed on Ellis Island to De George. I will be traveling to Francavilla in September. Maybe we can get some history. My grandfathers last name was Santora and they were also from Francavilla.I am trying to find out more , I know this is difficult but I would love some help!

We have records dating back to Prospero Ferrara born in Francavilla in Sinni in 1818, then moved to Tursi. We would like to know more about the Ferrara family prior to 1818.
