Compendium of Italian gestures

As everybody knows, Italians use very often gestures to communicate.
Even in Leonardo da Vinci’s “Last Supper” we can see the Apostles talking eachother with their hands.
Knowing the meaning of the single gestures, we are able to understand better what that scene means and we can give the right name of some Apostle too.
It’s another side of the Italian millennial culture.

Talking about gestures, we found this funny but interesting video about that.
This man, maybe sometimes overplays, but this video is a good summary of Italian gestures
He is from Naples, where gestures are very typical in the daily life.
If you happened to speak with your grandparents coming from Italy, you will find many little gestures you know.
